Amazing staff, amazing service with 24-hour room service that was perfect after our late-night adventures and a friendly poolside team that kept our drinks full at all times.

The service was a total letdown. Check-in took forever, and I couldn’t even make a dinner reservation for my birthday. The staff was rude, and I felt ignored while others were let in. Complete mess! What a disappointment.

The hotel was super clean and well-decorated. The rooms had all the essentials like body soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer. Loved the spa with all the treatments available—couples massage was a highlight! Great beach area with comfy sun loungers. Activities like acqua fitness were a blast. Poolside chaos with chair hogging and disappointing buffet hours added frustration. Despite the beautiful surroundings, some aspects felt disorganized, and customer service wasn’t always up to par. Still, the picturesque sunrise moments would definitely draw me back for another try.

Promises of an all-inclusive experience felt hollow when faced with extra charges for premium services and the spa. Check-in was chaotic and plagued with miscommunication. Customer service could improve dramatically, especially for those celebrating special occasions. While the ambiance had its perks, the experience fell short of expectations. This resort has potential, but substantial adjustments are necessary to achieve true luxury.

Nice pool with volleyball, great staff, and a modern property on a nice beach. Good food and dining options, and our diamond club butler was very helpful. Service was generally very good.
The floor I stayed on had a very bad odor, masked only temporarily. Elevators not in sync, causing long wait times.

The ocean views from our junior suite took my breath away! Every meal was a delight, especially the crispy chicken at the Munchies bar. The staff were so friendly, remembering our names and making our experience even more special.

The room was always tidy, thanks to attentive housekeeping. Our romantic dinners were made special with candlelit service and a great wine selection.
It wasn't inexpensive, but given the experience, it was totally worth it.

The room size was great, offering a spacious feel. the A/C struggled even set at 67 degrees; the humidity was noticeable. We had an issue with a potential leak by the balcony door. The beds were on the firm side, which some may find less comfortable. Noise levels were concerning, especially being near the stairwell and restaurant, leading to disturbances throughout the morning. Housekeeping missed replenishing our toilet paper. Although the room had some drawbacks, the overall atmosphere was enjoyable, and the service in other areas of the resort balanced things out well.

So, my recent stay at the Royalton Chic Resort in Cancun was a bit of a mixed bag. First off, let's talk about the positives. The hotel rooms were tidy and clean, with some really nice decor. The pool and pool bar were fantastic, and the cocktails and other drinks were delicious. the beach right in front of the hotel was super easy to access, and they provided free towels, which was convenient. Now, onto the not-so-great stuff. The air conditioning in the rooms was a major issue for us. It just didn't seem to work properly, and in Cancun's heat, that's a big deal. the hallways had a funky smell of mold and mildew, which was not pleasant at all. The whole check-in process was a nightmare, taking up a big chunk of our first day there. We were looking for a room with working AC for over three hours – exhausting! the dining experience left much to be desired. The food at all the restaurants, including the buffet, was pretty disappointing. And I must mention the lack of attention to cleaning – our room smelled like fried foods every day, and the bed sheets even had a hole in them. In terms of service, there were some ups and downs. While the pool and bar staff were super friendly and accommodating, the wait staff often overlooked us. It felt like a bit of a mixed bag. while there were some good aspects to the Royalton Chic Resort, there were definitely some significant areas that could use improvement. Loved the beachfront and beach activities offered during Christmas. Enjoyed the variety of restaurants and shows available onsite, which made it convenient for holiday entertainment. The location was perfect, right by the beach, and the room was promptly addressed when temperature adjustments were needed.
The staff in Lost and Found was unhelpful, leaving a negative impression during our stay. The service bar in the room was not properly restocked, and there were issues with room cleaning and door security.

My friends and I had a blast at a resort with the biggest water park in the Caribbean right outside the door! We enjoyed the all-inclusive perks and chilled with awesome water sports like snorkeling and kayaking. A perfect spot for a social vacay with the squad!
Just wish they had more lively nighttime activities for us party peeps! .
